Gehenna Now Ten Years On

It's now ten years since the release of the debut Logos album Gehenna Now.

To celebrate, we've made the album a free download.

Listening back to the album this afternoon for the first time in years, it does sound a little primitive to me. If we were making these tracks now, I know they'd sound rather different. That said, I guess we're happy enough with it as a debut release and it does feature some of our better-known tracks.

Download for free here. You can also read my track-by-track breakdown and analysis on the Logos website here.

God Thing: A Companion

Partly because it's ten years ago that I was recording God Thing, and partly because I enjoyed compiling the Alice Dee playlist, I thought I'd make a companion playlist to God Thing. The God Thing text is - in part - a knot of literary, musical, and cinematic references, and picking one's way through it can be difficult, I admit. This latest playlist collects the songs referred to. You're on your own with the literary and cinematic allusions, for now.

Alice Dee now available

My novel Alice Dee is now available for Kindle here. Paperback to follow.

Alice knows she has to get out of London. City life is killing us, she thinks, is slow suicide. But all she finds when she gets out are fences and signs, roads and field boundaries. When a chance altercation with a farmer turns her life upside down, Alice is faced with a choice; return to the city she hates, or follow the destiny that unfolds within her? A girl, a gun, and love of nature; how far would you go, to save the world?
